Drive Options

Push Up

  • Typically used on smaller openings such as doorways, windows, serveries or bars.
  • Both operable and lockable from both sides of the opening.

Hand Chain Operation

  • Used on smaller to medium sized openings that are either too large for a push up, or where there is no electrical supply available.
  • Provided with a safety brake (anti-fall back device) to comply with European regulations.

Electric Tube Motor

  • 240 volt, single-phase tube motors, typically used on shop-front, office or domestic, low use applications.
  • The motor is mounted within the roller mechanism, which reduces the amount of space required to accommodated the head assembly.
  • Safety brakes (anti fall-back device) are fitted where necessary to comply with European regulations.
  • Emergency hand operation is provided as standard.
  • Available with a wide range of control options.

Electric Direct Drive (Safe-drive)

  • Typically used on industrial applications.
  •  Integral safety brake (anti fall-back device) to comply with European regulations.
  •  Eliminates the need for counterbalance springs.
  • Eliminates the need for drive chains or gear trains.
  • Ideal for high usage applications such as car parks or loading bays.
  •  Plug-in, pre-wired, low voltage controls.
  • Emergency hand chain, operable from floor level, provided as standard.
  • Available with an extensive range of control options, varying from a simple push-button or keyswitch, right up to full remote/automatic operation with safety features to comply with health and safety regulations.

Electric (conventional motor)

  • Typically used on industrial applications.
  • Provided with a safety
    brake (anti fall-back device) to comply with European regulations.
  • Drive chain or gear chain drive.
  • Plug-in, pre-wired, low voltage controls.
  • Emergency hand chain, operable from floor level, provided as standard.
