Wicket Gates

Wicket gates are pedestrian doors incorporated into larger roller shutters, allowing staff to enter and exit without operating the main shutter. This saves time, reduces wear on the shutter mechanism, and improves energy efficiency by minimising large door openings.

Particularly useful for premises where the roller shutter covers the only access point, wicket gates provide convenient pedestrian access while maintaining security. They're commonly specified for warehouses, loading bays, and industrial units where the main shutter opens only for vehicle access.

Our wicket gates are available with various locking options and threshold configurations. They can be fitted to new shutters or retrofitted to existing installations, and are available with panic exit hardware where required for emergency egress.
